[glow=red,2,300]"AND SO IT BEGINS! HWAAAAAAAA" yelled Bradley, goofing off. "Now, let's get down to business, I hear you are the best in the school" He said, and the reply was as follows "Best in the country is more like it" [/glow] "Then Bring It On!" they sparred for a solid hour.

Darin wasn't far off when they starting sparring. The gymnasium door had been left cracked open some, and he listened to them talk before they went at it. He wondered how good Carter was. He just said he was the best in the country, so it made Darin wonder if he ever fought in Nationals too. He watched each of their moves, and then after awhile he nervously opened the door. Normally he wouldn't have, but the other guy had invited him to spar.

"Hello Darin" Carter said, while executing a Tomunage, and Bradley catching himself, landing, and saying. "You ready?" They stood there, waiting, then said together. "Come on man, we're just fooling around. We spent quite a while as children working on that sequence. That's like second nature to us now."

He just smiled. Had a white long sleeve shirt on that was unbuttoned. He took it off throwing it to the floor. He was now wearing a black underarmor tank top. He also wore loose comfortable black pants. Knowing how this was done after so many years of it, he sat to take his shoes off. He then walked a bit closer and lightly smiled. "Of course." He put his hands together in an open palm manner and bowed. He then stood straight up again.

Carter and Bradley bowed, forming a triangle. "How should we do this, one on one, or free for all?" Carter asked. "You are about to see why I earned the name Hellfire" Bradley said, flipping backwards from the bow.

Darin smiled at the backflip. "Well, if it is to test our skills against one another, then wouldn't one on one be most appropriate?" Even with Carter here, he still felt at ease, because this was his environment. This was what he was used to.

"Most definitely, let's flip a coin to see who sits out first, call heads or tails." Bradley said as he flipped the coin.
"TAILS!" Carter called out "HEADS!" Called out bradley

Darin watched them flip the coin and didn't know whether or not to call. They both called, so logically it wouldn't make sense for Darin to call. That meant Darin was most definitely up first, because who was sitting out would be between the two of them.

The coin landed, "Darin, what does it say?" Bradley says, pointing to the floor, where the coin was still spinning. It flopped over onto one side, and a slight gasp was heard from Carter.

He looked at and his eyes widened a bit. "Uh... Heads." He looked up at them both. He knew exactly what that meant. The other guy was sitting out, and it would him against Carter. He gulped very slightly at the thought of it. He wasn't sure if Carter had cooled down from before or not. He then closed his eyes and brought his hands together. He clasped his hands together expect his pointer and middle fingers which pointed straight up. He took a deep breath and pulled his hands a part as he exhaled and opened his eyes.

"well then, I look forward to this. You will see, when talking about it, I am completely different from doing it" He says, adopting a right foot back stance. He waited. "You can make the first move" He said, standing there

That was what he didn't want to hear. He didn't want to hear that he was allowed the first move. Before he hadn't actually fully let on to what he knew. Especially after how Carter reacted. He didn't want to talk about it more, out of fear of making him yell again. Most of his stances were well honed for countering and defense, not many were meant for full on offense. He knew what he had to do then. He needed to make his first strike, knowing full well he'd be countered, because that was the only way he could get into his own comfortable styles.
He spread his legs, his left out in front, and his right in the back. He placed his left hand out in front with an open palm. His right hand stayed at his side in a fist. He started moving forward, looking over every bit of Carter's stance. He knew he'd be countered, and that was what he needed. So he struck head on towards Carter's chest with his right fist expecting the counter.

Carter simply moved his arm, which had been in a position similar to that of a boxer before a fight, in 360 degrees, moving behind his opponent, and pressing down on his back, his leg creeping in front, releasing the arm as his opponent fell, a simple maneuver he had discovered and perfected for the three second counter. "Nice try, this time I will attack first"
((Darin, you can't counter that by the way, I know, I've tried in real life. It's pretty much impossible.))

Darin rolled to his back and leapt up to his feet. He took his same stance, more prepared now. He preferred the position of defense much more than offense. He watched every movement of Carter and kept his breathing slow waiting for him to move.

Carter resumed his silent stance, and swept out with his leg, faking, then launching a quick knee to the chest with that same leg.
