Steffy set her book bag down on an empty table, smiling at a few familiar faces. She needed some time alone to sort out her thoughts. Thank god for free period she thought as she began taking out her Macbook, began typing in Word.

Darin quietly came walking over to Steffy. He had looked everywhere for her, and never exactly quite knew where to start. And of course he never thought to text her. He sat down quietly looking at her. "Hey Steffy." He smiled lightly at her.

She frowned looking up from her Mac, before her expression softened, "Hey you Looking for someone?" she asked adding a smile, putting her Mac to sleep so she could give him her full attention.

He smiled softly, "Of course. Looking for the most beautiful girl around. I think I found her though." He winked at her and quietly laughed. "But hey, I had to tell you something actually."

She laughed a bit too loudly, receiving a few sushes from people. " Opps " she said softly, before smiling at him, "Congrats on finding her so shoot " she said putting her chin on her fist.

He smiled softly, "Well... I'm going to be gone this week. I'm heading out today for China. There holding the World Martial Arts Tournament this year. My parents have no idea I'm going, but I've always wanted to, and I have the money for the flight. But I didn't want to go without telling you first."

She forced a smile, silghtly dissapointed but she understood, it was something he loved and futhermore she had no right to stop him from going, she nodded "Okay, Are you competing or just watching" she asked, forcing another smile trying to mask her disappointment from him.

He looked down a little, because he knew she probably didn't like the idea when everything between them had just suddenly started. He then looked back up at her. "I'm competing." He smiled lightly, but he didn't do such a great job at that.

She bit her lip, before breaking into a sweet smile, “Okay, good luck then, break a leg” she realized how dumb that sounded, before titling her head to a side “You know what I mean” she said, smiling at her own mistake, feeling happy for him.

He gave sort of a weak smile in response, because ultimately he wasn't sure if leaving so soon after everything was the greatest idea. But he had waited quite some time for this. Once he started thinking about it he started feeling a bit selfish about it, but he figured people were supposed to follow their dreams weren't they? "Yeah, I know what you mean" He quietly laughed at her wishing him good luck with that old saying. "Though I definitely don't want break a leg, but I'm sure I'll be fine. I'll be sure to write you while I'm gone though. Well... email... writing would be pointless." He laughed at his own explanation.

She looked up at him, sensing his doubts, she gave him a soft smile, “ Don’t worry about me, just go have fun and…come back in one piece” she added a grin, before laughing softly “Email, I’ll check back often” she smiled serenely, not sure if she was making any sense. She wanted to hug him but thought twice as they were in the library.

He smiled softly in return as she attempted to reassure him that this was fine. "You're really sweet." It was no wonder he liked her. No matter the situation, she always seemed to find the ability to be nice and pleasant. That was rare as far as he was concerned. "Well... my plane leaves soon." He looked down but managed another soft smile before looking back up. "So uh... I better get going." He took a deep breath now. "And I promise I'll come back." Now he acted upon impulse. He stood up and leaned over the table and kissed her once, lightly. He smiled. "Try and have some fun yourself while I'm gone." With that he got up and started heading out. He was now on his way to the airport to catch a flight that would take across the world for a week.

She smiled saying nothing, yeah people often told her that but how true was it, only she knew. When he was finished with the kiss she felt a light blush creeping up on her cheeks. “Okay bye” she said smiling sweetly, tilting her head forward, letting her brown hair cover her cheeks. Ignoring the glances of curious students, she sat back down, sighing. Keeping her Mac, she made her way back to Channing with mixed emotions.
