"Yeah it does seem as though everyone here has known each other for sometime. That's what gets me so nervous being new around here." He sighed. That's one thing he hated about himself. Even if he had wanted to just be normal, his nervousness and shyness always prevailed. "Yeah, New York is nice. So long as you're in the right parts." He hadn't been to too much of the 'bad' parts, but he did know about them. Brooklyn for example was one of those places he knew about. "It's not bad here. I really don't think there is much trouble to get into around here. Mostly just teenage drama. The usual you know." He smiled and laughed a little.

"Oui, I feel the same," Lily felt completely out of place at the academy since being the new girl was somewhat of a rare thing for lily as well as seeing a newbie at this school in general. She was happy to be in the same boat with Darin though, since he seemed to be her first and only friend here so far. "It sounds prise d'haleine the way my sister kept describing it to me after she went there on jour férié for a week." She was glad to hear there wasn't much issues around other than the normal teen aged drama, even so she wasn't at all familiar with it herself. "Oh je vois," replied Lily. "Though I'm not familiar with the teenage drama, so far it sounds as though I will aimez-le here." She laughed a bit along with Darin and returned the smile. "Are people easy to get along with here? So far I'd say oui, but you're the first person I met so."

Bradley walked into the room, laughing on the outside, but crying on the inside, his normally broad shoulders slouched, and his flaming eyes seemingly drenched. Nothing seemed to matter to him but keeping Carter safe, and he needed a break. Carter was ok, for now. As long as 'she' didn't come near him, who was she? He thought, and sat down on the floor, hearing a conversation, and not wanting to intrude. He stared at the wall, meditating to find peace. "Om is the bow, the arrow is the soul; the Brahman is the arrow's goal; which should be hit unswervingly" He muttered to himself, repeating the old Hindu meditation chant, over and over calming slowly. He entered the trance, and sat, meditating.

He thought about it for a moment, "Well... I've only met a few people so far, and most have been decent." There was only one person on his mind that still made him nervous. Though he wasn't going to bring it up. He then looked back at Lily with a smile, "Tell you what. If someone does give you trouble, I have your back." He said this in a sweet friendly manner. He really would be there for a friend if they needed him, but he had never really had friends before to defend. So this was a whole new game for him. He then heard a very quiet sound and turned his head. He didn't see anything, but he was quite sure there was a third person in the room now.

Bradley stood up, feeling much calmer, his heart slowed and walked out of the shadows. "Hello?" He asked, knowing the people were still here. "It's just Bradley, Carter's brother." He said, looking around for them. He eventually saw them and walked over to them. "Hello, Bonjour ma cherie" He smiled but his eyes were still dull, the sign of a defeated man, one who has given up on trying "I'm sorry, but I must leave, I'm worried sick about Carter" He said hurriedly as he rushed out of the room, grabbing his coat.
