She took a deep breath, before pushing open the door. "Explain yourself Jess" she said, sitting down next to him on his bed.
He covered his face, better Steffy then the guys he thought. "What is it a crime not to lose it" he asked.
Steffy thought for a while, you are probably right she thought. How could he have been so honest about it. "You're right but is it a crime to lose it?" she said softly.
Jesse narrowed his eyes, "You didn't drink right?" he asked, he kind of had a feeling where this was going he just hoped he was wrong.
"Yeah i didn't drink but people can lie" she said softly looking around the room for anything to get her out of this. 'Can't believe I actually decided to open this door' she thought.
His eyes widened, " Steff! What the hell! " he began not sure if he read it right.
Her eyes rested on the Macbook pro sitting on the table. "Borrowing, mine spoilt" she decided to leave out the part where she was the one who spoilt it. She smiled when she saw the email. She managed to get through hitting send when the Laptop slammed shut.
"Steff" he growled, still not believing his ears.
She looked at him with her best puppy dog look. "I said people can lie I didn't say i lied right" she said nervously wondering if she could pull this off. Seeing that he still didn't believe her, "Alright what do you want me to do? Take a test? That's just sick" she smiled, "I am not that dumb okay" she added.
Jesse's gaze softened, the Steff he knew wouldn't be that dumb right. "Okay can we just put this behind us" he asked gaze returning back to the Mac, "Who were you emailing"
She sighed, a little glad they had moved on. She just didn't want anymore shit on her hands maybe her friends would be more understanding. " Darin he left for China"
Jesse broke into a smile, before jumping up. "Ha! What did i tell you that guy is no different" he grinned.
Steffy rolled her eyes, "For a martial arts competition" she added laughing. "Why are you so desperate for me to break up with him"
He smiled, "Because so far i can't find anything to break up you two" he said.
She grinned, "Sadist" she said playfully, thumping him with a pillow. Before walking out, "I'll be borrowing this for a few days" she said, taking the Macbook pro. Seeing that he was about to protest, "As my reward for staying clean" she added before closing the door.
She left Windsor feeling like the biggest liar in the whole world.
