Darin smiled big now. "Wow..." That was all he could say for the moment. He was stunned honestly, but at the same time he didn't know why. Didn't he already know she was interested in him like he was interested in her? Never the less, it was great to hear. "I've never... wow... this feeling... it's... amazing." He looked away blushing with a light nervous smile.

Steffy smiled at his reaction, "Amazing doesn't describe it for me " she said, she laughed at what she had just said. Looking at him, " So listen, Noelle's having a party, Sebs put you on the list do you wanna go? " she asked.

He smiled kindly at her offer. "Well I'm assuming you'll be there. So in that case, of course I'll go." He couldn't believe this. Not only was he invited to a party, but there was a girl who actually liked him. This was unreal to him. He couldn't get enough of this. He loved every moment of it.

He sighed and bit his lower lip lightly. He looked to the ground. "Well..." He took a deep breath. "I'm... not giving up. Not on something like this. I won't go down without a fight." As confident as he tried to sound, he was still nervous about this brother of hers. But he was trying to be honest however. He had never had anything like this before, and he didn't want to just turn his back and walk away now because someone might give him hell. He'd have to try and hope for the best.

Steffy put her hand on his shoulder and gave him a comforting smile. " J can be an ass at times but don't worry, " she said. Hoping that J hasn't caught wind of it yet, she had forgotten to warn her friends about keeping quiet but she figured that they might.

He lightly smiled back at her. He knew he could handle himself if worse came to worse, but Darin wasn't the type to really just fight. He was very respectful about what he did, and he didn't view it as something to make him 'bad ass'. He just hoped that everything would go over well. "I'll try not to worry too much."

She smiled, " Good, " she said squeezing his shoulder lightly. She looked at the time on her phone and sighed, "I guess it's time go get ready " she said, trying to mask her slight disappointment
