Noelle shivered as she made her way to her spot, pulling her Burberry peacoat tighter against her. It was the second block of the day, and she should have been in History right now, But History was boring, and there were other things she much have rather been doing. Noelle gripped onto her sketch pad and pencil, thankful that she was wearing her Marc by Marc Jacobs cute, grey tights that kept her legs warm under her short, school skirt. She made it to a small clearing, which was her favorite spot in the summer. But it looked gorgeous right now, with fire-y red and golden leaves all around the meadow's floor. She went over to the one tree in the middle, the Great big oak tree. The Clearing was a spot where many kids came to make out or smoke weed. Noelle came to The Clearing to think and to draw. She sat under the tree, pulling her legs up close to her chest and putting her sketchpad on her lap.

Noelle looked around, remembering many memories that she has had in this clearing. She remembered back in 7th grade she made out with Jeremy Hayes- a freckled face blond boy who moved away the following summer. She grinned, chuckling softly to herself at the memory. Had that been Noelle's first kiss? She almost burst out laughing remembering that it hadn't. Most people wouldn't count this but Noelle definitely did. Cayden was her first kiss back when they were 5 or 6. She remembered she kissed him on the lips, and he didn't protest. They also went out for like 2 hours, before Noelle stole Cayden's purple crayon and he dumped her. She burst out laughing at the memory, luckily no one was near or they would have thought she was a lunatic. She smiled, looking out at the trees. They really had been friends for so long, and even as kids they didn't work out. Noelle shook her head. She really liked Cayden and couldn't ignore those obvious feelings. It seemed that everyone knew except for him and she just couldn't bare to tell him, in fear that he would hate her and not want to be her friend anymore.
