Deep Breaths (Open)

After the possible drama Darin had witnessed, he was glad that Sebastien had gotten himself out of there. Before he got back to the dorms he had said farewell to Sebastien so he could go relax a little by himself.

It was quite warm outside still even though the sun was down below the horizon. He decided to make his way towards the woods and he just hoped no one just happened to do the same. He didn't mind meeting everyone today, but it was the drama he could do without. Drama always caused people to get angry with one another usually, and Darin wasn't to keen on having enemies. He didn't care if he was a loner without friends, he just didn't want enemies.

He finally got to the woods and passed a few trees as he went a little further in. He couldn't hear anything anymore, but the soft breeze and the chirping of the crickets. That was a peaceful sound and it made him feel at ease. He climbed on top of a large rock in the ground and sat on top of its flat surface. He crossed his legs and put his arms down on them. This was what he needed. The time to take some deep breaths and relax. He closed his eyes and just calmed down while listening to the peaceful sounds of being alone.

Steffy left the room with Noelle and Della. She was so bored, and did not really feel like lazing around.

She took a walk in the woods aimlessly. Walking deeper and deeper, she saw someone sitting on a rock. He looked really peaceful, making her think twice about disturbing him.

She stood behind him, looking at the surroundings, a few minutes had passed. She looked at him again, more carefully this time. Then she realised who he was, the new guy with Sebs.

"Hey, hope i'm not disrupting anything? " she said with a friendly smile.

(No, its fine I'd be more than happy to have you jump in)

Darin sort of jumped a little. That was exactly what he had hoped wouldn't happen. It's not that he hated people, its just he hated how nervous he got around them. He opened his eyes and turned his body a little. He took a moment to figure out who it was standing there. "Oh no, you're fine. You're Steffy, correct?" He smiled lightly. He tried his best to put names with faces, and in his opinion he took a risk by guessing.

"And we have a winner! " she grinned at him, sitting down next to him.
"So you like it here?" she asked awkwardly.

[Darin Michael Serano]

He smiled as he looked up at the sky. For some reason he wasn't feeling so nervous right now. He figured that it might have had to do with where he was, and the fact that it was only one person around him. That made things easier. Also, she seemed really nice, so Darin was happy about that. "Yeah, it's really peaceful. When you come out here at night, all you hear is the soft breeze moving through the trees, and you can hear the numerous chirps of the crickets all around. And when you look up you can see ever star high above just dangle there without a worry in the world. It's nice. It makes you forget about all the stresses in life." He kept a warm smile now as he gazed upon the night sky. The moon high above was full which gave off enough light to see.

"Wow, honestly I've never noticed that, It's really sweet." she said, she shook her head in mock despair "All these years here and i've never noticed that, " she paused to laugh at herself, " i'm so fail, guess theres more to life then parties ".

Darin looked over at her now and simply gave a normal pleasant smile. There wasn't much sign of nervousness behind this smile. He seemed much more comfortable than he had before. "Well just don't go beating yourself up over it. You may have not noticed it before, but you have now, and its still early in life. And I don't think you're a fail. There are worse things a person could do." He laughed a bit quietly.

Steffy smiled, " So why did you come here, Epson i mean, practically everyone here has a story " she looked at him, wondering why he seemed so different from the rest of the guys.

[Darin Michael Serano]

He looked up for a moment and gave a soft sigh before looking back to her. "Well... My parents sent me here because a business partner told them it would benefit my ability to start a successful career in the future. In my opinion, it doesn't matter what school I go to. I don't really want to run a multi-million or multi-billion dollar company. There is so much more to life than money. Besides, why should my parents have say in my future? They haven't been there for me my whole life, but they still want to decide my future. I know they mean well, but it's not me." He gave a slow deep exhale now.

Steffy looked at him silently, someone was almost in the same predicament as her.

" Yeah parents," she let out a sigh " you wanna know my story? " she asked him.

He looked at her smiling kindly. "Of course, so long as you're willing to tell." He was one who liked listening to other people. He wasn't much for the spotlight, but he did enjoy giving it to others who wanted it. He leaned back a bit now and propped himself up on his arms.

" My dad is just like your dad, has a business demands that the kids follow. My mum on the other hand, has a acting career, wants kids to follow. They got a divorce over this just to see who gets who. I got my mum, my dad got my twin brother. But being my dad, he loves to win it all. So I came here, no drama school or business course , so i guess you can say we both have the same story " she laughed softly, "well some parts we both have over-demanding parents " she added

[Noelle Adae Blanchard]

Noelle trudged up the woods, her bare feet getting all muddy and her hair dripping wet. She was silently cursing Carter. She heard voices nearby and rolled her eyes. Just. Bloody. Brilliant. She saw Steffy and Darin, sitting on a rock. She passed by them, keeping her eyes ahead.

"Yeah, they say its for us and all, but sometimes I don't think they see that its their own selfishness and wanting us to be exactly like them." He sighed. "But I try to make the best of what I have. So far its worked." He just smiled again. He was happy however to know someone else was like him.

" Remind me to try that some time " she said with a smile.

"So what do you actually like to do "

She looked up, seeing Noelle wet and dripping. Oh gawd she thought, this is bad. "Noe!" she yelled, she did not look back.
